About me and my practice
As a trained passionate professional, I use different therapeutic approaches. By using person-centre, CBT, psychodynamic, solution focus, motivational interviewing techniques, they enable me the advantage, to work drawing on ways to tailor for your therapy, that is unique to your individual needs. As a Certified Clinical supervisor, I use Hawkins & Shohet 7 eye model & Sholtenberg IDM model. Both models facilitate & benefits my practising, that they are not specific to any one practical counselling modality, but as long as I as your supervisor, have the working knowledge & continuous skills of your particular training, I assure you, I will always & continue to work ethically & reflectively in a confidential & in a highly empathic way. This will support your development in your training, ongoing career developments, knowledge & skills in providing therapy to your clients, for the desired change & goal they want.I offer an inclusive practice that is respectful to a diverse range of clients, from young persons, adults, supervisee & qualified counsellors from many different backgrounds, identities & cultures with a wide range of presenting problems & challenges. This could be anxiety, depression, domestic violence, bereavement, or redundancy, relationship breakdowns, stress related issues, dealing with anger, being a first time mother, single parent or dementia. Just naming a few challenging & overwhelming problems.
Experience
I have over 8 years experience, which includes being a freelance Integrative counsellor, for Anchor counselling working alongside supporting Hounslow IAPT clients with 1-2-1 counselling to help/ support them unravel events that have led them to where they are now and work with them to determine a way forward.
I have gained other experiences working at Ealing IAPT West Ealing as a Honorary Counsellor where I provided support and treatment for common mental health problems, i.e. depression, anxiety and panic disorders with 1-2-1 counselling within a psychological well-being IAPT programme.
Finally at EACH Counselling services, Ealing branch as a Volunteer Counsellor, providing 1-2-1 counselling and support to client suffering from Domestic violence, mental illness and substance misuse and other addictions in line with their needs and goals to address their related problems, i.e. eating, shopping or gambling, anxiety, depression, low self-worth or anger management, to undergo harm reduction and/or abstinence by developing recovering programs and coping strategies to avoid relapse.
Qualifications
I trained at Lambeth College, Clapham common branch where I achieved my certificates in CPCAB Level 5 Diploma in CBT skills & theory, Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, Level 3 Certificate in counselling studies and at the BACES Wembley branch NCFE Level 2 Certificate in counselling skills and Basic Counselling skills-First Steps.

Initial Consultation
I am offering up to 20 minutes free initial appointment with no obligation for further sessions in counselling.
The initial appointment is different from subsequent counselling sessions in that I am asking questions about your current and past experiences and your goals for counselling.
It is also an opportunity for you to find out about the way I work and if you feel I am a compatible therapist for you. I believe it is important to find the right therapist, where the alliance works for you to see changes in your life journey moving forward.
Fees
£65 for counselling sessions
£55 for 60 minutes of supervision
£70 for 90 minutes of supervision
Reduce fees available for students or counselling students.
